    Mini Movers

    Ages: 15 months – 4 years | Length: 60 minutes


    A fun and interactive class designed for little ones and their parents! This class uses obstacle courses and activity stations to build foundational movement skills, balance, and coordination. Parents actively participate alongside their child, creating a bonding experience while introducing exercise and healthy movement habits in a playful setting.

    Adventure Athletes

    Ages: 5 – 10 years | Length: 60 minutes

    An engaging obstacle-course-based class that focuses on strength, agility, flexibility, and balance. Designed for kids who want to stay active without the commitment of a specific sport or team, this class helps build athletic foundations, body control, and overall fitness through fun challenges and movement drills. Perfect for developing lifelong healthy exercise habits.

    Base and backspot strength lab

    Ages: Any | Length: 60 minutes

    This targeted conditioning class is designed specifically for bases and backspots who want to become stronger, more stable, and more confident in stunts. Athletes will be focusing on building the core strength, body control, and power needed to safely support and control flyers.

    Athletes will train core and stability for lifting and catching; leg and upper body strength for stronger stunts; balance and body positioning for better control; conditioning drills that mimic real stunt situations.

    Jump Techniques

    Ages: Any | Length: 60 minutes

    This class is designed to help athletes build stronger, higher, and more powerful jumps in addition to proper fundamentals, techniques and drills to use at home.  This class breaks down each jump so athletes learn how to generate power, maintain clean form, and land safely.

    Athletes will focus on correct body positions and arm placement; takeoff, height, and control; drills to improve strength, flexibility and height

    Open Training

    Ages: 10+ | Flexible Drop-In Sessions

    An open gym time designed for older athletes who want freedom to focus on their own goals. The gym will provide open mat space and self-guided training stations for conditioning, agility, flexibility, and core work. Participants can practice skills, or use the designated self-stations at their own pace. Coaches provide supervision and guidance for safety, but athletes lead their own training focus.

    This session is perfect for teens who want extra practice outside of class, cross-train for their sport, or just enjoy an open space to move and stay active.

  • Flex & fly - stretch & flexibility

    Ages: Any / Length 60 minutes

    Derry Athletics Flex & Fly Class is designed for both flyers and non-flyers who want to improve flexibility, control, and body lines for cheerleading.  This class focuses on safe, effective stretching techniques that help athletes move better, feel stronger, and perform with cleaner form. 

    Athletes will work on flyer-specific body lines such as heel stretches, scales, and scorpians; flexibility for jumps, tumbling, and stunting; active and static stretching for strength and mobility; balance, control, and injury prevention.

  • Cheer 101

    Ages: Any / Length: 60 minutes

    Cheer 101 is the perfect point for new athletes who are curious about cheer but not quite ready to commit to a full team.  This fun, upbeat class introduces the foundations of cheerleading in a supportive, low-pressure environment.

    Athletes will learn proper cheer motions; jump techniques and drills; basic stunting skills and grips; flyer body positions and body control; teamwork and confidence.
